Als Nederlandse verzamelaar heb ik mij toegelegd op het bewaren van verhalen achter foto’s, documenten, boeken en objecten uit de periode 1918–1946. Elk stuk in de collectie is een origineel historisch object.
Op deze website is slechts een klein deel van de WW2museum Online collectie te zien. Het volledige archief omvat duizenden foto’s, ansichtkaarten, boeken en documenten. Sommige rubrieken zijn uitgebreid vertegenwoordigd, andere bestaan slechts uit enkele stukken. Onderzoekers en auteurs wereldwijd raadplegen deze collectie voor publicaties, tentoonstellingen en academisch onderzoek.

As a Dutch collector, I have dedicated myself to preserving authentic stories, photographs, documents, books, and artifacts from the years 1918 to 1946. Every item in this collection is an original piece of history.
Through this website I present only a small selection of the WW2museum Online collection. The complete archive holds thousands of photographs, postcards, books, and documents — some categories richly represented, others more rare. Researchers and authors worldwide use this collection as a source for publications, exhibitions, and academic work.

These are collector items, better said museum pieces of historical value. It is certainly not my intention national socialist; fascist, racist, revisionist ideas of the past, to promote or glorify, let that be clear.
It is to get information for research and to show a part of my collection. It is not about me, how the political game that was played at that time, but purely for the materials that were present at the time.

Het gaat hier om verzamelstukken, liever nog gezegd museumstukken van historische waarde. Het is beslist niet mijn bedoeling het nationaalsocialistische; fascistische; racistische; revisionistische gedachtegoed van toen te promoten of te verheerlijken, laat dat duidelijk zijn.
Voorop staat het geven/krijgen van informatie en het tonen van een gedeelte van mijn verzameling. Het gaat mij dus niet om het politieke spel die er destijds werd gespeeld, maar puur voor de materialen die destijds aanwezig waren.
